Type I, II or III: which collagen to choose?
When we talk about type I, II, or III collagen, we are referring to the raw materials used to create collagen hydrolysate, each with a specific origin and function. Type I, the most common, is found in skin, tendons, bones, and is predominant in connective tissues. Type II is primarily found in cartilage, and type III is associated with the structure of muscles, organs, and arteries.
Our formula contains three types of collagen (types 1, 2 and 3) for a more complete formula, derived from the hydrolysis of local fishing by-products.
Our patented raw materials Cartidyss®, a type II collagen, and Naticol®, a type I and III collagen, have their own clinical studies testing their role on skin and joints.
-
Cartidyss® has a specific and unique composition. Its components have a synergistic effect on human health. It is highly bioavailable and digestible thanks to its composition made up of more than 90% peptides with a molecular weight of less than 3000 Da.
- Naticol® is a hydrolyzed marine collagen obtained from fish skin, renowned for its purity and high concentration of bioactive peptides. It is naturally derived, sustainable, and colorless, making it an ideal ingredient for neutral and effective formulations.
These two ingredients are naturally derived, long-lasting, odorless and colorless.
