Why 3 sources of magnesium in the formula?
There are many forms of magnesium available in the food supplement market: oxide, marine magnesium, citrate, malate, bisglycinate, taurinate, chloride, sulfate, etc.
What sets them apart: their elemental magnesium content, their bioavailability (amount of magnesium actually absorbed by the body), their adverse effects and of course… their price.
We have formulated our complex with 3 best assimilated forms of magnesium:
- magnesium bisglycinate (240mg/day), because in our opinion this is the best form of magnesium. Indeed, this 3rd generation magnesium salt has very good assimilation and has a high content of elemental magnesium. This chelated form also has very good tolerance by the body.
- magnesium malate (30mg/day) and taurate (30mg/day) (because all human bodies are different and absorb magnesium in different ways, it is necessary to diversify the sources of magnesium).
We have selected, after bisglycinate, the 2 other sources which also have very good assimilation, and have no laxative effect.
